Despite all the scamming companies that push PM (preventative maintance) contracts......residential systems really do not demand the need for anyone other than the homeowner for maintenance purposes.
All that REALLY needs to be done is regular filter changes (monthly or quaterly depending on air contaminants), cleaning of condenser (outdoor) coil with POWER OFF once a year, cleaning of drain and treatment, and for those comfortable with the idea...tightening of the electrical connections ONCE a yr WITH THE POWER OFF.
Despite popular myths....You do not need to add refrigerant every year.....Your system should be totally sealed with no leaks....if you are having to add charge you need to repair the leak(s). www.facebook.com cardinalairservices.com hvacmarket.com
