Milton is a city in Cavalier County, North Dakota and was founded in 1887. At one point, Milton was the largest city in Cavalier County with over 800 residences, but today only about 100 people call it home. There is no school in town, but plenty of options in neighboring towns. It was once a boom town in the early days, but with so many businesses closing down, many call it a ghost town. Even though not many farms are left, there is the Chs Inc which produces things such as oat, flax, oil sunflower and wheat. If a friendly conversation and a cold drink is what you want in town, then you would visit the North Forty Bar.
