Boys Town is a village in eastern Nebraska surrounded by the city of Omaha. The village of Boys Town was established as the headquarters of the Boys Town organization, also known as "Father Flanagan's Boys' Home", founded by Father Edward J. Flanagan. It is dedicated to the care, treatment, and education of at-risk children. Attractions include the Dowd Memorial Chapel, Father Flanagan's House, the Hall of History Museum, the gardens and the Stamp Center. Some of the artifacts on display in the museum include the Best Actor Oscar presented to Spencer Tracy for his role as Father Flanagan in the motion picture “Boys Town.” Boys Town is popular with Omaha tourists. Businesses in the village include the Boys Town Gift Shop and the Boys Town National Headquarters Behavioral Outpatient Pediatric Clinic.
