Fullerton, population 1,378, is the county seat of Nancy County. The town is named after cattleman Randolph Fuller. Near Fullerton is a place called Buffalo Leap, which is a part of the Broken Arrow Wilderness Camp. It is believed this area was used by early Americans to drive buffalo to their death as a means of hunting. Local attractions include the Fullerton State Park and the Nance County Museum. Annual events include the Twin Rivers Cruiser Car Show, the 4th of July celebration, and an Old Fashioned Christmas. The local schools are Fullerton Elementary, Middle, and High School.
