we have the same issue however id love to have the speeds your getting over 100 kb would be helpfull atm we are getting speeds that equal half of dial up we are paying for the lowest service which is i believe 764 kb but when we do a speedtest we are getting 27k tops and i enjoy playing games online but its just not possible with this connection and we have tried calling and calling them to no use and the way it jumps right up to 27 kb it seems like they are purpousfully limiting our bandwidth if anyone has the option to avoid nntc take it or they will steal from you... more

Service is Subpar
I have been a customer of NNTC for 9 years and feel that they have cheated me in terms of services promised. I have a 1mbps plan that I pay $69.99 a month for (overpriced) and at most times when I check bandwidth test sites I am informed that I receive only (100-190kbps) 1/8th to 1/10th the speed my plan promises. Countless calls to technical support prove fruitless. I know that Internet Service Providers oversubscribe to save money but paying $69.99 for a plan than only gives me the speed of a $10 Qwest plan is theft. I recommend staying away from this company, if they are the only ISP in your area then go with satellite internet and save yourself some grief/money.... more
