About Yutan

Yutan is a city in eastern Nebraska with a population of about 1,200 people. The town's park, Timbercrest Park, has a newer playground that is enjoyed by all of the local children. A library is also available to residents. Two Rivers State Recreation Area is located close to Yutan. Visitors can rent a retired caboose that has been transformed into a cozy cabin at the park. Two Rivers also offers trout fishing, camping and access to the Elkhorn River. Ever summer the town celebrates its history with a festival called Yutan Days. Activites at Yutan Days include a BBQ cook-off, a car show, a street dance, a one-act play and fireworks. Yutan High School and Yutan Elementary School are the largest schools in the town. Businesses in Yutan include Cubby's and Integrity Home Inspection.
