About Phillipsburg

Phillipsburg, NJ, is a beautiful city, located in a bend on the Delaware River. Phillipsburg has many old sites to see, including beautiful bridges, the Delaware River Railroad, the St. Philip & St. James Church, and the historic Market Street. One historic home is located across from the Market Street, and has been owned by Dr. and Mrs. Wolfe for over 40 years. There is an interesting Brownstone home, called the Stewart Townhouse. It is on the way to the Black Bridge. There are many historic homes and buildings. You can ride on the Delaware River Line, a free trolley in Phillipsburg. There are quite a few hotels there, including a Holiday Inn, Hyatt, and a Super 8. The Phillipsburg's Downtown Association's mission, is to revitalize downtown Phillipsburg. This will save Phillipsburg's beautiful never-ending views, and places to tour.
