About Plainsboro

Plainsboro is a township located in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, which is one of the few nuclear fusion reactors in the world, is located in the city. Students here, as well as in nearby West Windsor, attend the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. Many of the schools with in the district have been named on New Jersey Monthly's best schools list such as the High School North, ranked first, and the High School South, which ranked third. The Walker Dairy Farm opened in Plainsboro in 1897, and is credited with contributing Elsie the Cow who is probably the most famous cow in the world. Famous people with ties to Plainsboro include professional basketball player Andrew Bynum and Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Soni.
