Sussex is a part of the Sussex County region of New Jersey known for its scenic natural landscapes and for its popularity as a choice camping destination. Major attractions include the High Point State Park and the Allamuchy Mountain State Park. Each year in the summer season the numerous state parks and camping spots around Sussex become a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, hikers and other nature lovers. Among the biggest companies in Sussex are the Crystal Springs Golf Resort , and Mountain Creek. The biggest schools here are High Point Regional High School and Sussex Middle School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Sussex is the Barret House Museum, which offers a peak into mid-19th century life. Sussex also offers a pleasant contrast from other regions of New Jersey in its sparser, more idyllic layout which makes it a great option to escape into the great outdoors.
