About Edgewood

The Town of Edgewood is a part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area of New Mexico known for having the longest remaining portion of the famed Route 66. Major attractions include the Wildlife West Nature Park and the Tinkertown Museum. Each year in the fall, the area plays host to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Among the biggest companies in Edgewood are Falcon Industries and High Desert Consulting Inc. The biggest schools here are Moriarty High School and the University of New Mexico. One of the best places to visit when you are in Edgewood is the Sandia Peak Tramway, Famous persons from the metropolitan Albuquerque area include Microsoft founder Bill Gates and actor French Stewart.
