About Avoca

Avoca is located in Steuben County, New York. According to the 2000 census, the town has a population of 2,314. The area was first settled in 1794 and the town of Avoca was established in 1843. Avoca Central School is the largest school here. Avoca businesses include Switzer's Meat Processing and Blair Supply. Area attractions include Smith Pond and the Cohocton River.
