Frame of Mind Timber Werks
Disappointed Outcome...
We spent what we felt was a lot of monies on a Timber Frame construction for our New Indoor Pool Building here at We Wan Chu Cottages. We spent $ 80,000 on the Douglas Fur Scissor Trusses only to have a number of them with Stains / unsightly water stains which the owner said they would come back and sand out and re-stain prior to the Pool being filled... Not... We spent approximately $ 30,000 on thousands of feet of 3" x 6" Douglas Fur tongue and groove planks for the ceiling with some of them, which were buried in six large bundles 16' to 20 ft. long with Green Crayon marks on a number of pieces. Of course, by then in both cases, we had to pay in full in advance and none of which have yet been corrected, again not happening in a timely manner since the Pool is filled and Open to our Guests. A Lesson learned in that if You are reading this review, I suggest a different approach or a different Timber Frame Professional...... more
