If the child is in an abusive situation the first step would be to report that home to the local Child Care Services office or call the child abuse hotline.

I've been in sales and sales management for nearly 12 years now. And, to be honest, obviously the salesperson wants you to test drive the car, because that increases the chances that you will buy the car.

Think about it this way.....you probably wouldn't buy an expensive dress (women) or suit (men) without first trying it on, right? Same thing applies to a car, truck or SUV.

With that being said, a test drive can accomplish several things. One, you buy the vehicle, two you realize you do like the vehicle, but still might want to test drive a few more, or three, you absolutely hate the ride.

So, if you are working with a good, reputable dealer, please go on the test drive. If you like the car, wonderful....and hopefully you can negotiate a fair deal, and drive off in a vehicle you love. Or, if you hate the drive, you don't waste your valuable time, and the saleperson's time as well, by spending two hours negotiating and haggling, just to find out that you wouldn't buy the car if it were only $5.00.

Remember, this you will be "wearing" this dress or suit...a.k.a, the vehicle for several years. You have to make sure it fits you.
