Kauneonga Lake is located in Sullivan County, New York. Kauneonga Lake is a hamlet located within the town of Bethel. The community was once called North White Lake, a name that is still used by locals. The Bethel Youth Recreation Building is one major attraction in the area. Among the biggest companies in Kauneonga Lake are Monticello Collision Specialists and Friends Pub. There are no schools located in Kauneonga Lake, but area students are able to attend schools in the nearby cities of Monticello, White Lake, and Jeffersonville. One of the best places to visit when you are in Kauneonga Lake is the Bethel Farmers Market.
