About Moriah Center

Moriah Center is a community in Essex County in northern New York. Nearby are the John Strong Mansion Museum and Barber Homestead Park. Every August, neighboring Westport hosts the Essex County Fair. Two major companies in Moriah Center are Furness Greg & Gladys and Boyeas Grocery and Deli. Amongst the largest schools in the Moriah Center area are Moriah High School and Westport Central School. One of the best places to visit near Moriah Center is the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, featuring a large collection of historical watercraft with some that date back to the 1850s. One notable resident from the Moriah Center area is Ben Goldwasser.
