About Ossining
The village of Ossining, is located on the Hudson River in Westchester County, in the New York metro area. Major attractions in Ossining are the Ossining Heritage Area Park Visitors Center, Old Croton Aqueduct Trail, and the Ossining Historical Society Museum. Each year, in October, the Teatown Fall Festival is held here. Nearby parks are Teatown Lake Reservation and Briarcliff-Peekskill Trailway. Try the Roanoake Island Museum and Playhouse, right there in NC near Manteo at the outer banks- they put on a fabulous play about the settlers arriving and give a stirring rendition of what happened to the Native Americans there.
