Ideally, you spend some time, as in years, working for someone else....getting 'hands on experience'.
College is a possible route, so you get some initials after your name..
And self-taught....get books, read articles, study the competition, etc., ....that can work too. (But I wouldn't want to be your first paying customer if that's where you begin.)

Junk Shop
They are a junk shop, pure and simple. Only place I have ever dealt with that does not set your unit up properly, then clerks smirk when you bring it in a few hours later so they can press a few keys to get your system right. When later that same night you have problems and leave a message for them to call, they never do. And, BOOTLEGGED versions of Windows! Yes, I actually had warnings from Windows informing me my system was operating on a BOOTLEGGED version of Windows! A junk shop! So, I am daily putting out the word around the community to prevent others from being railroaded. It will take some time, but I hope to either run them out of the area, or take a bite bite out of their junk shop.... more

PERFECT SCORE FROM STATE INSPECTION!!!
anyone that says negative things about this salon is dead wrong. the proof is from their state inspections. they have passed state board inspections with PERFECT ratings every year since they have openned.very few salons can say that. so for the people out there trying to bad mouth salon ten twenty, get a life and feel free to call state board and ask for a copy of their PERFECT review!... more

Andrews & Pontius LLC
Don't bother
I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy. Our mother passed away 20 months ago with a simple, uncontested will for us 5 kids and as of this review, the estate is still not settled. Mark Andrews claims ignorance as to the hold up, refuses to take our phone calls, rarely responds to email, tells us to learn patience, but will take his fees before we see anything. And if he feels you are being critical of him, he'll give you the speech about how he is doing you such a great big favor by not charging even more money. Do yourself a favor, get a better, faster lawyer.... more
