some people who have straight hair straighten it FURTHER which is interesting because that implies that even naturally straight hair is somehow imperfectly straight. I think that is pretty funny.
Ok, but all of your other questions have to do with the individual tastes and preferences. Usually, this has more to do with what your hair dresser suggests AND what is trendy. So find your self a head specialist or just go natural....

I used to have DIFFICULT HAIR!! But not anymore
I love the stylists at Shear Therapy; first and foremost they listen and care about what you want as a client!! They continue to educate themselves with the latest advances in hair care and bring that to their clients as well. But best of all the shop is like hanging out with your best girlfriends while you get precise cuts and AWESOME hair color and conditioning. I'm a 44 year old African-American woman and my hair has never been in better condition and I have been able to grow my hair to a length I have never had before and I know it is 100% because of the knowledge and expertise I have received from my stylist at Shear Therapy.
