its funny how the rules have changed over the years,, when i started to ride dirtbikes i was 6 years old and had a garelli 50cc.
there were no age limits to what cc machine you could ride..

i believe 6 years old is a good age to learn provided supervision
helmet and goggles and safety gear such as,, chest protecter,elbow/knee pads and the proper boots and gloves.

mass should have what they call an atv/dirtbike safety course
which teaches the kids how to properly ride and operate an atv or dirtbike,,, like new hampshire does,, then once the coarse is completed they get a certificate showing that they were properly taught how to control an atv or dirtbike..

here at quadrunners we have been contacting the state of mass to see if we can become a member of this safety course training due to the closest city we have found is down in the southern states like carolina,s
