WOW! In reply to attoney general, Ed wrote a 11 page reply. 20% is true and 80% is a figment of Ed's imagination to rationalized his dyfunctional behavior. For example, he did give me an involve which was for $495 and I did ask he to increase it. I did this because Ed did not give me any receipts for paint, etc so I told him he needed to account for his supplies on the involice. Also I offered the handyman he refers to the same amount ED wanted, but Roy declined. The bottome line is that Ed and Chevelle did not have the skills they said they did and I should have fired them after they missed the first deadline. not happy with customer service
Love most Sherwin william stores nationally. First one I had difficulties with. Other store asked for invoices...could not send. I asked for color number for my front door 3 times over 3 days. Was told fax machine not working and mail already went out. One person there is very sensitive and too emotional. Does not keep confidential company information confidential. I'll never go shoping there again. Shop around for another SW store. You are paying for their service via the paint costs.... more

make sure everything is in writing when dealing with contractors
Had Edward Swartz and Chevelle Swartz work evalued and other contractors said it was only worth only $2500. Ed charged me almost 3 times that . Refused to valid hours worked. A professional should not have spent more than 80-100 hours. And Ed should have been around 120-150 hours. Ed charged me something like 50-100 hours more. And his supply budget does not make any logic. I tried to offer this couple a deal that I being a Christian would drop the whole issue if they would make a donation the the veterans hopital for the soldiers coming back from the war and they thought it was a "game'. So much for them going to church every Sunday. My christian friends tell me to let God handle it. Desperate people do desperate things in desperate times. Ed's wife told me Ed had not worked steady in 4 years, so I guess he needs the money more than I do.... more

at first mr. schartz did a great job. But then he got tired of the work, missed deadline, did sloppy work, overcharged, and would not correct his errors. He was also nasty to me when I questioned him. Refused to give an invoice. Did not give me receipts. I felt like a meal ticket... more
