Steubenville is a part of the Weirton–Steubenville, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area and it belongs to the Jefferson County in Ohio. The city is known for its Artwork especially the Murals and it is famous as the City of Murals in America. The city was found in 1795 and today it is developed into a developed city with a sound network of transportation and industrial units. The major attractions of the city include the parks and recreational grounds organized by the City Municipality. The city has four beautiful parks and among them Belleview Park is the main park. The city became famous as 'Little Chicago' because of its fast life style and criminal activities. The Murals of the city have gained it worldwide fame and the tourism industry has become one of the major contributors towards its economy. The music and Performing Arts culture is also very famous in the city and the city is gradually becoming a center of cultural activities. The biggest schools of the city are Steubenville High School and Bishop John King Mussio Central Junior High School. The city is served by the Steubenville City School District. One of the best places to visit when you are in Steubenville is Belleview Golf Course. Famous persons from Steubenville include Zinn Beck, Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers and the legendary artist Dean Martin.
