About Ardmore

Ardmore is a city in, as well as the county seat, of Carter County, Oklahoma. It is considered to be a business, cultural, and tourism center. There are numerous attractions located in the city including Ardmore Little Theatre, Charles B. Goddard Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, the Studio 107 Gallery and Art Studio, and the Hardy Murphy Coliseum. Students here attend the Ardmore City Schools or the Ardmore-Plainview Public Schools. Also located in the city are the Ardmore-Oak Hall Episcopal School, Ardmore Higher Education Center, and the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center. Famous people with ties to the city include NFL player Jermaine Gresham, boxer Eric Fields, and the man who shot former President Ronald Reagan John Hinckley, Jr. Businesses located in Ardmore include A-1 Mini Storage, Ardmore Massage Company, Missle Tow, Arbuckle Wilderness, and The Relaxation Station.
