Claremore is the county seat of Rogers County, Oklahoma and is part of the Tulsa metro area. It is home to Rogers State University. Claremore completed renovations of its downtown in 2007. Claremore Industrial Park houses a number of larger companies including Baker Hughes. Coal mining is also a major industry. Roger and Hammerstein's musical "Oklahahoma!" is set in Claremore. Famous residents include entertainer Will Rogers and playwright Lynn Riggs. Attractions include the Belvidere, Will Rogers Memorial, and J. M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

What would cause a ceiling fan to smell like it is burning?
The coils of the motor are overheating and vaporizing the volatiles in the insulation...the cause is probably the bearings failing either by seizing or by being so worn that the field coil is rubbing on the armature.
The fix is to replace the fan...FAST, RIGHT AWAY...or don't use it.
