Cold heartless unfeeling disrespectful. . .
LaFerry's Propane Co. has shown a total lack of respect for a customer they have had over a dozen years by suddenly reverting them to a cash basis only. This status is forever!!! There is a zero balance on this account and last fill was over six months ago and when called for a fill up was advised cash only! Over 12 years and this decision was made with no advance warning. What caused the crash of 1929?
There are at least 3 theories as to what caused the crash of 1929. The first one goes like this: President Herbert Hoover was awake late one night in the White House. He was trying to come up with a way to cause a depression, but since the democrats controlled the House of Representatives and all money bills start there he couldn’t convince them to shut off the money supply. So, he waved a magic wand and cast a spell on the economy. That did it. The next theory goes like this: “Them d@#% republicans caused the depression!” Now, number 3: The so-called Federal Reserve (Fed) made credit so easy to obtain that start up businesses were everywhere, money was flowing like water and the parties never stopped. !Viva la bam! Then all of a sudden the Fed restricted the flow of $$$, businesses went broke, people were out of work and the stock market began to crashed. As a result, the Fed, with pennies on the dollar, bought bankrupt businesses and got richer.... more
