Adams, population 297, is a town in Umatilla and considered part of the Pendleton-Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was named after John F. Adams, a local land owner. The city was incorporated in 1893. Children in Adams attend Athena Elementary, Weston Middle, and Weston McEwen High School (in nearby Athena).
