Adams, population 297, is a town in Umatilla and considered part of the Pendleton-Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was named after John F. Adams, a local land owner. The city was incorporated in 1893. Children in Adams attend Athena Elementary, Weston Middle, and Weston McEwen High School (in nearby Athena). Local attractions include the Bar M Ranch, Adams City Park, and South Fork Campground. Local businesses include Canyon River Construction, Arrowhead Travel Plaza, and Airport Mini-Storage.
