Good Service
I can't speak for the gentlemen above, but I have always found Rics Marine to be knowledgeable and easy to work with. They have fixed my boat several times, their hourly rate is not nearly has high as most and I have had no problems with their work. Ric goes out of his way to help me every time I call in, or just show up. The shop and yard could be a little cleaner but when your speaking about boat yards, not sure too many of them are exactly clean. I guess it's easier to write negative reviews for people then it is to right positive. With that said me and a few of my boating and fishing buddies have been in and out of Rics with no problems at all.... more

UNFAIR
I TRADED HIM A BOAT AND TRAILER FOR A USED TRANSOM BRACKETT AND A GIMBLE HOUSING UNIT BECAUSE MINE LEAKED. HE SAID HIS PARTS WERE GOOD. WELL THE WIRES FOR THE TRIM WERE ALL CHEWED UP AND HE SAID THAT WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM. WELL WE PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AND FIND THE TWO HOSES HAD HOLES IN THEM SO I NOW HAVE ANOTHER LEAK. SO I THOUGHT HE WOULD MAKE GOOD AND FIX THE HOSES, WELL HE FIXED THEM BUT CHARGED ME 300 DOLLARS..HIM BEING A DEALER SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT HE WAS GIVING ME MORE PROBLEMS AND HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE RIGHT THING AND DID NOT...AVOID THIS PLACE... more

Be Careful
I brought my boat in for repair. It took a month with a new excuse every week when I called. When it was finished there was a major gas leak, the plug wires were disconnected and no one bothered to let me know I'd left the plugs in and it had filled with water (that sat for a month). They resolved the issues after two more visits, but no apologies and no discount.... more

Jonathans Service Center
best around
jonathan's is the only shop i will ever use for my automotive repairs. They are honest mechanics which these days means a lot. The newest mechanic; Justin, is a veteran and an amazing mechanic. He saved me over 400 dollars last time i was there for a radiator replacement that another local shop said i needed Justin realized it was just a loose hose. It is the only shop i will ever use again and Justin is my mechanic.... more
