About Conestoga
Conestoga is a small community in Lancaster County of Pennsylvania. They are an extinct tribe. The Conestoga wagon with broad wheels were used to tread soft soil in this area. The name of this community means "immersed pole" according to an Indian term. Major attractions include Swan Lake and fishing. Among the biggest companies in Conestoga are Conestoga Wagon Restaurant, and Conestoga String Shop. The biggest schools here are Conestoga Elementary and High Schools. One of the best places to visit when you are in Conestoga is the Conestoga River.
