I would suggest you go to a Permanent makeup specialist in a Salon, as they use a different ink than regular tattoo artist which is specifically for the face. It's a little uncomfortable, but it's up to the Permaent makeup specialist to see to it that you are comfortable, by using a topical to numb the area, and by making sure she keeps the eye area as clean as possible during the procedure. I say anymore no tattoo is really permanent, as there are camouflage inks which can be used to cover up any unwanted ink, othewise I tell my clients their makeup should last 5-8 years depending on where the makeup was applied. I use a vegetable based ink and I love it for my clients, and so far the color is staying true. I do a lot of corrective work on women who have gone to tattoo shops, or who have chose to save a few dollars and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" I hope this Helps you and I am absolutly positive you will love getting your eyeliner done permanently
