Webwholesellers and Manasquyan Transmission & Clutch gave good answers. This type of problem is not unusual on a high mileage vehicle, even if well serviced. Transmissions often give you warnings that components are worn before they fail. You may be experiencing slippage between first and second gears. If so, I would definitely schedule a visit with a transmission shop. At this time, if you've caught it early enough, it may be a relatively easy and inexpensive fix. Needed a gasket for my XXV rear manifold and they told me they did not have any and that they are expensive. They really want to service my 2 units at $189 and said they would give a break for the 2nd one at $100 with no chimney to clean because it's a direct vent, woopty doo!! When I asked about the heavy soot on the inside of the mirror glass after 1 bag was used they told me it was because I was using cheap pellets. When they sold me it thay said the good thing about a Harman is that it will burn any pellet. The truth is the Clear Choice brand did the same thing. From what I see so far is that the Embers place where I purchased this is only interested in getting every dime from you. I will see if they change the way they doo bussiness but I will seek someone else if I need to pay.... more

hi to wood goodbye to oil @389gal i have a tl200 you have to take it all a part inside to get to the ceramic afterburner to get tha ash out if you dont your stove wont work at all becuse all the ash gets sucked back when you use the afterburner so read your manual and vac it out it will burn like new good luck tl200 user... more

Harman service sucks
Harman Stove, will NOT help you. They list part numbers in their manual, but will not let you order them. I tried their local dealer, but he wants you to leave a message, and takes two days, or longer, to get back to you. Found better help, from a THELIN dealer. He was helpful, ordered a part for me, and gave me alternative idea's for service. When my Harmon gives out, I will buy a Thelin. Already have their "potbelly " stove.... more
