Is this due to brand name of the products or are the ingredients significantly different from those contained in products purchased in a retail store?
Salon products are not only made with better ingredients but they are more concentrated as well. This means you can use less product at a time. Put in your hand about half what you would use of store product then rub your hands together to break the product up and distribute it over your hands. Then slide your hands into your hair at the scalp and move them out to the ends. This works to get product all through your hair and lets you do more with less! With proper use, salon product lasts longer than store product and the cost per use is the same or better.

Enroute to MO, my mare suffered a bout of colic. Tom offered his farm as a layover. With Tom’s support and assistance, I was able to properly administer necessary medication and spend hours walking my mare. Tom was most accommodating in every possible way. Once apparent that my mare would be okay, he insisted that I go to my hotel. He assured me that he would keep a close watch on my mare and call me if there was any problem. When time to head home. Tom made sure that all of the last minute detail was attended, from removing a divider to allow a larger box stall for my mare, to providing a huge bale of quality timothy hay, then actually loading the mare on the trailer. I found Tom to be knowlegeable, kind and hard-working. Normandy Horse Farm is beautiful and we were very welcome guests.... more
I wrote a review to help future boarders. The owner didn't like my observations. A person should be able to give a review without being penalized. For the record, I have never stolen a thing from any barn. I am a boarder (not an idiot) who needs quality care for my horse., just like you. The owner is upset by my honesty, but I have pics that I can show you. You can make your own decision. I am happy in a new place. I LEFT, was not asked to leave. I would not endanger my horse (did not steal food). I am surprised that it is always the boarder's fault, never the owner's in every review. I have left on good conditions from every farm I was ever at, minus this one. This owner has been contacting people to obtain personal info on me. Very scarey person. For my own safety, I can be emailed if you have a question, but will not continue to waste your time on this site when all you are looking for is a review. Good luck in finding a happy home for your horse.... more
This reviewer was asked to leave farm because she stole food. She feed her horse between scheduled feedings. Her horse coliced because of these feedings. She blamed the colic originally on "onion grass". But when I smelled the horses mouth, it did not smell like onion grass. She then admitted to giving her horse a little extra grain (3 qt scoop) and hay each day. Not only is this endangering her horse, it is stealing. I do not tolerate stealing. This individual told me she was "asked to leave" Churchville farms. I took a risk on her because she "had no where else to go". I explained the feeding schedule to her before she boarded on the farm. Farm owner where she is now: clamp down on your feed bins and lock your hay bales The horse that died here did not die of colic. It got sick in the middle of the night and I found him at 5 AM sick in the stall. Ask Sharon Kimmel or Dr. Shilling what was wrong with this horse. They will know.... more
