I booked my wedding Make up months in advance, and called to confim the apt a week before arriving on Block Island for my wedding. When I got to the Salon...They were CLOSED. After waitning almost an hour and many phone calls, he never showed...and never called to say that they were sorry. Since options are limited, I would go to Koru, they may be more expensive but peace of mind is better that being stood up without any compassion or explaination.... more

I would not go back here-mechanical problems with bikes, overcharged for 3 bikes instead of 2 , call 5 times to inquire about the extra charge on the credit card and they do not return phone calls. This is the one by the Montauk ferry station.... more

Payne's Dock is the Best
Cliff Payne went out of his way to allow us to dock our boat at his place during an off season holiday . He was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and honestly cared about our safety. After exploring Block Island for the first time, we are not only excited to return to spend more time there, we are also very much looking forward to seeing our new friend, Cliff Payne, from Payne's Dock again hopefully in the very near future!... more

Although I don't dock my boat at Paynes except in emergencies. I have had the pleasure to deal with Cliff and his family for over 27 years.
