Cayce is located in Lexington and Richland counties, South Carolina along the Congaree River. Columbia, South Carolina's State Capital is directly across the river from the town. Cayce is known for its historical heritage and hosts the annual Congaree Bluegrass Festival and Christmas in Cayce festival. Larger Cayce employers include Reyland Medical and the Regional Finance Corporation. Brookland Cayce High School is the town's largest school. Attractions include the Fort Granby site (where battles were fought during the Revolutionary War), the Cayce Riverwalk, and the Cayce Historical Museum.
