About Smoaks

Smoaks is a part of the Colleton County region/Walterboro metro area of South Carolina. Major attractions include the Colleton State Park and the Branchville Railroad Shrine & Museum. Each year in the spring season there is the World Grits Festival. Among the biggest companies in Smoaks are Whiskey Haven Kennel and Garris Auto Salvage, Inc. The biggest schools here are the Ruffin Middle School and the Ruffin High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Smoaks is the B&D Bar-B-Que.
