Impact of mining expansion

With New Tech Mining expanding, do you think there will be a boost in the local economy? What promotions are you planning to generate new business?

Manley Tire & Oil Service image Answered by Manley Tire & Oil Service

I once heard a quick and dirty explanation of local economy mechanics: For every one person who gets a job, another person somewhere else locally will also get a job.

What that means is that if a kid graduates from college and gets a job at the local ...uh... beer factory! The fact that he is now part of the economy and is making money AND BUYING STUFF at stores, restaurants, etc, means that these business will need more employees so they hire people too.

So if this business is adding 50 jobs, the total number of local jobs will probably increase by 100.
