About Buchanan

Buchanan is a part of the northwest region of Tennessee known for its location to the Tennessee River and for being named after President James Buchanan. Major attractions include Paris Landing State Park and Oak Haven Resort. Each year in the summer season there is Summer in the Park. Among the biggest companies in Buchanan are Point Pleasant Baptist Church and Hooks & Horns Sporting Goods and Gifts. The biggest schools here are Lakewood Middle School and Buchanan Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Buchanan is Paris Landing State Park.
