I love the shea butter, mango solid lotions you sell. The grapefruit passion smells so good! I wish you made perfume with that scent. I get so many compliments on its fragrance! The lotion also keeps my hands soft despite my having to use hand sanitizer constantly (I am a teacher) so cracked dry hands are an occupational hazard. I live about 100 miles from Lynchburg, but spent much of my childhood there. I remember that as a young clhild I went in the store with my granddaddy to buy nails. I now go back to the town as a visitor and never fail to enter that quaint store, with same floors, steps and wood bins. now instead of nails you will find candy, bags of charcoal from the distillery, Lynchburg lemonade mix, Tee shirts, all kinds of souveniers. I once saw an old jutebox for sale upstairs. If you only stop in one store, as you pass through Lynchburg, this is the one!... more

Short Visit This Past June
I am a Tennessee Squire and after visiting the Squire's Room our first stop is the town square and the first store is Sully's Gifts where we always get postcards to send to our friends along something for us to wear be it a hat,skull cap, tee shirt or a knick knack - mostly to visit with the lady at the counter - and we happen to be talking about the pesky insects and she said that skin so soft was the only thing that worked for her best but was unable to locate any so after we got home we were down to Shipshewana,In and picked up a couple bottles and sent them to her because she was so nice and made us feel relaxed and in no hurry to rush off. We want to say thanks again for the nice vist and we hope the package wasn't too late. We ususally try to go there at least once a year as we are from Kalamazoo, Michigan and sometime hopefully in the near future we want to retire and live in the area. As Tennessee teachs one to slow down and enjoy the finer things in life. Rollo & Mary... more

Cattywampus Restaurant
Birthday lunch
I took a friend to Cattywampus for her birthday lunch and our meal was fantastic! The special of the day steered away from southern fare. It was Japanese sweet and sour chicken. The chicken had its own 'special' batter. We had a great lunch. I highly recommend it.... more
