About Ten Mile

Ten Mile is an unincorporated area in north Meigs and Roane counties, approximately 50 miles NE of Knoxville. It is considered a summer cottage community because of its location on Watts Bar Lake, a reservoir created by the TVA, that has 780 miles of shoreline. The lake is an ideal place for water sports and fishing. Prominent businesses in Ten Mile are Ten Mile Grocery and R & D Automotive Repair. Midway Middle School is the only school in Ten Mile. Yonder Hollow Productions, in nearby Rockwood, has a live Bluegrass Music Show every Friday night, where you will step back in time to hear bluegrass and mountain music and local cloggers join in the fun.
