It's So Bananas
Keep Looking
This store has a lot of stuff but they are proud of all of it. They are WAY over-priced. Many other stores in town offer the same items for much cheaper prices. The front help is friendly and nice. The owner lady is a bit rude and full of herself, big turn off. I went in looking for lamps (nothing less than $200.00 - found same thing at Accents Home Decor for $60.00), the owner at this It's So Bananas was just very snobby and wasn't very customer friendly. I think this owner is trying to be high end and wants to only cater to the very wealthy. Unless you have a bottomless wallet, keep looking, you will find better deals in many other places in town.... more

No Appliances from these guys!
Do not buy an appliance from these guys. They do not stock appliances anymore but they say they can have it here in a week. Fat chance. We waited over three weeks for a refrigerator we purchased after Thanksgiving. They kept telling us that, "it will be here this week." We finally got our money back and went to Circle N. No more chain stores for me when it comes to appliances.... more

Rvxpress Amarillo
Rvxpress is wonderful!
This is without a doubt the cleanest and best organized campground we have ever stopped at. It is located far enough off the Interstate that it is fairly quiet. All sites are huge concrete pads with side concrete patios. The roads are paved and between the sites is gravel with desert grasses and bushes. The free Wi-Fi is excellent and there is free cable too. They also provide free laundry in three very clean restroom/shower/laundry pavilions. There is also a clubhouse with multiple televisions, a book exchange, shuffle-board, workout room and more laundry machines. There is an outdoor pool and two hot tubs (seasonal). The staff members are very nice and helpful. All types of shopping are only a 5-10 minute drive away. We stayed during the fall off-season when rates were $25/day for more than one day ($150/week). (I believe their one night rate is $33.) There is propane on site. Also the gift shop is filled with some very unique Southwestern decor. We camped here in a motorhome.... more
