About Angleton

Angleton is the county seat of Brazoria County. Angleton lies at the intersection of State Highway 288 and State Highway 35. The populatino of Angleton is 18,613. Each October the city of Angleton hosts the Brazoria County Fair, considered to be one of the city's main attractions and Texas' largest county fair. One of the city's largest employers is Benchmark Electronics, a maker of electrical circuit boards. The biggest schools in the area are Angleton High School and Northside Elementary. Famous persons from Angleton include former NFL greats Keith Toston and Quentin Jammer.
