inept customer service
I have been trying for 6 WEEKS to d/c my direct tv and return my equipment. NO results! Multiple phone calls (none of which are less than 20 minutes) where I'm transferred around, put on hold, cut off or sent back to main menu. Meanwhile my service stays connected in a house where I know longer live and I'm CHARGED FOR EVERY DAY DIRECT TV FAILS, OR REFUSES, TO PROCESS MY REQUESt. Finally I get service d/c after I call and and insist for SOMEONE TO HELP ME! Still, I am charged $42 for the weeks it remained in service in spite of our instructions. And Now, I HAVE GIVEN MY NEW ADDRESS TO DTV 4 TIMES. THEY STILL CAN'T GET IT RIGHT AND I CONTINUE TO WAIT FOR BOXES SO I CAN SEND STUFF BACK. I'm keeping a copy of this note to send to your billing dispute center. I'm not paying for the days DTV stayed in service in spite of our requests to d/c. Or the late fee i'm bound to accrue for not returning your equipment. And to all 3 credit agencies as I anticipate your collection efforts.... more
