Coastal Bend Siding & Windows
Does not stand behind warranty
From installation we had problems. Very in experienced and unprofessional. Sold us a bill of goods for a 5 year warranty for 40,000 dollars of hurricane windows. Had to return to fix instillations because the windows and doors were installed incorrectly, did not pass the state windstorm requirements. The state inspector had to tell the installers what to do to correct the inadequate instillation. After less than 2 years 2 of the windows had broken seals with moisture accumulation. After 15 phone calls, with no response from the owner. We were told by the receptionist that the owner does not personally respond to customer issues. We were also told the company they recieved the windows from went out of business and there was nothing they could do for us. Basically Coastal Bend did not back up the warranty and did not back the stated warranty.... more
