Are there any laws that prohibit the custodial parent to take a child from a joint custodial parent out of the state?
The question depends on a lot of things:
1. Your state's laws
2. Is the parent taking the child out of state permanently or temporarily.
3. What does your current decree state.
Usually, state laws prevent a parent from permanently removing the child from the jurisdiction unless permitted by court order. I can't tell you what requirements must be met for a court in your jurisdiction to allow removal. Check with a family law attorney in your area.

We ordered a custom built legacy home and fully regret it. We have had so many problems that the service man was here the first 3 weeks after they delivered home. Floors are awful, seams do not even come close to matching, water leak under the belly that they can t seem to fix, it continously pours water, gaps in sheetrock, gaps in windows, holes in the walls, floor is raised in some areas and sunken in in others. The cabinets are falling apart, the bar is so wobbly that it is not usable. The funniest thing, we got the smallest washer and dryer that they make and they will not fit into the laundry area. The trim is gapped everywhere, and has holes everywhere. Service man laughed and said they must have went crazy with the nail gun. I didnt think it was funny. Doorways have had to be replaced as they were warped. We paid nearly 50 grand for a piece of junk that is already falling apart!!! I am so embarrassed for company to come see our new home and they see this.... more
