I don't necessarily think there need to be more laws pertaining to truck drivers, but that the current laws simply need to be enforced for ALL drivers.

Many times in accidents there is a car involved that has contributed in some way to the chain of events. Sometimes, a driver who should have been pulled over for a violation is not, causing a more severe accident later on down the road. With all the restrictions on drivers these days, I don't think more is the answer. I really feel that better enforcement would help keep our roads safer.

More awareness by all drivers on the roads would be beneficial as well. Whether winter conditions or not, the more a driver takes others into consideration, the more likely they will be able to avoid simple mistakes that cause deadly accidents. That goes for cars and trucks!!
