Stanton is a large urban community that is located within the county of Martin in Texas. Major attractions for the Stanton area include Shelbourne Park‎ and the Howard Jenkins Memorial Space Park‎. Stanton is known for serving as the county seat and for being one of just three cities established within Martin County. Among the biggest companies in Stanton are Caffey Woodie and BS Auto Sales. The biggest schools to be found within the Stanton region are the Stanton High School‎ and the Stanton Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in the Stanton locale is the Martin County Historical Museum.
