HP has expiration dates on their cartridges and on some printers they won't work if the exp date has passed, even if the cartridge is in perfect shape. Just a way to sell more ink.

Can hair be damaged by not be being cut enough?

How often should hair be cut to remain healthy? Does it depend on the length, style and texture of hair?

To remain healthy, at the very least the ends or tips of the hair show be trimmed just a little. Best to keep the ends blunt, instead of letting them split. This splitting will happen after a few months if the ends are not trimmed regularly.
