About Midvale

Midvale is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population is 27,029. The city was founded in 1851, and Midvale became an epicenter for the mining industry. The largest companies in Midvale are Cimetrix Inc., a software company, and Utah Medical Products. The biggest schools in Midvale are Salt Lake Community College, Hillcrest High School, and Midvale Middle School. A great attraction in Midvale is Gardner Village, which features 22 special retail shops that surround the historic Gardner Mill.
