Congradulations! Since you are looking to have your receptions catered you first need to set yourself a budget of how much you are willing to spend. This way when you contact local caterers you can let them know your budget and how many guests you anticipate and your event. They will work with those numbers and give you options. Usually to keep the cost down most will go with a finger food type (Hordevoures) buffet. Keep in mind if its a dinner time for the reception this can still be done. Just go with the heavier finger foods (heavy hordevoures) like meatballs, small sandwiches (Ex. chicken, ham). You could add a salad and or vegetable to the buffet, and still have your vege and or cheese tray. Remember your caterer can go over with you all their options and recommendations. Sit down meals can also be made afforadable just shop around for that right caterer that is willing to work within your budget and your reception can be wonderful without breaking the bank. I have tried every coffee shop in Ogden. The best coffee is Salt Rock Coffee on 12th. The Oliver Special is my favorite. They get their bean from Italy and it is always fresh. It is a great tasting coffee roasted by Lavazza.They only use the best tasting products syrups and flavorings. A lot of shops in Ogden skimp on quality to save a few bucks. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. Hands down the best coffee in Ogden.
