Taylorsville is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 57,439 at the 2000 census. Taylorsville was incorporated from the Taylorsville-Bennion CDP and portions of the Kearns CDP on April 24, 1996. Major attractions include Meadow Brook Golf Course and Meadowbrook Plaza Shopping Center .Among the biggest companies in Taylorsville are Keycorp and Zions Bancorporation.The biggest schools here are Taylorsville High School and Success School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Taylorsville is Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery. Famous persons from Taylorsville include John Taylor.
