Stoney Creek Resort
Great Place to camp and have fun!
My husband and I have been camping at Stoney Creek for over 8 years now and always meet great people and have made a lot of friends there over the years! For the first 5 years, the previous owners did not make any efforts at improvements, and just let it continue to get run down. The new owners, Dan, Gloria and joe, have poured much of their own funds and time into revamping the campground, not to mention doing most of the work themselves! So, yes, it is slow going for now -- after all, $ doesn't grow on trees -- at least not one that I can find! The campground didn't get in bad shape overnight, and it can't be fixed overnight -- they have added more full hook-up sites and other major improvements. Give it time!! As for the ticked-off camper from July, if the owners hadn't handled that the way they did, it could have been a lot worse! We all know what happened and are happy with the results.!... more

Stoney Creek Resort
A wonderful place to camp!
The upcomming camping season (2009), will be my 4th year camping at Stoney Creek. I have completely enjoyed every minute I have been able to spend there. And look foward to many more years at Stoney. The owners, management & staff have always been more than willing to accomadate all thier quest, and have made us all feel like family. The person that was asked to leave Stoney Creek, shows that the managent really cares about all the campers. Sure there are rules to follow, but the rules at Stoney Creek are very simple and to the point. They are basically courtesy rules for all campers, to insure a great time is had by all. I would invite everyone to Stoney Creek to enjoy the same relaxing and family atmosphere that I have for the last 3 years.And would like to say THANKS to the owners Dan, Joe & Gloria for my home away from home.
