Robert Hurt ,I would like smaller government,stop abortions unless its rape or incest,less taxes and govt.regulations,and work on repealing this health care bill .We also need to provide for our veterans and most of all secure our borders and if you are here illegally send them home and stop the welfare!!!!!!!!!!

A great local small business
I've used Campbell Equipment twice now for new tires. Once for my Civic and once for my wife's CRV. In both instances they had to orderthe tires but were able to have them in and installed in one or two days. Dropping off the car the night before was super easy and I think they call about 8:30AM the next morning to say the cars were ready for pick-up. You may save a few bucks at the big chain stores in C-ville but I like supporting the local Fluvanna Co businesses, especially when thier service is a good and friendly as at Campbell's.... more

Two J's smokehouse
Hi, if you like barbecue smoked just right and sides such as excellent coleslaw and red skin potatoes and alsome baked beans then come to two J's smokehouse. The food is excellent and the owners are very nice. They work very hard to fix the food right and boy does it taste good. I would give them ten stars out of the five that I am allowed to give. I am not kidding when I say their food is great!... more

Poor Customer Service
I arrived for my appointment for a state inspection at 8am. The receptionist seemed like she needed to go back to bed..Yawning and instead of greeting the customer. One customer even asked her what it would take for her to smile. Then, my car is inspected and the mechanic comes in and mumbles something to her..I heard "battery." She goes on to laugh and giggle with the parts delivery guy and not saying anything to me for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, my care is running outside. Finally, she says, your car is ready. By the way, your car had to be jumped in the stall. It's running since mechanic didn't want to turn it off. your bill is $16...no offer to replace the battery or anything...basically sent on my way. Good thing it didn't need anything for state inspection. Guess they are too busy for Customer Service. Unbelievable...... more

Condactylactus gigantea, purple tip This close-up of the tentacles of the common sea anemone, Condactylactus gigantea, displays the detail of the animals long and thick tentacles. The tips of these tentacles are purple, but sometimes the tips are also red, pink, lavender, green and white. The tentacles attach to a central tube-like body which is generally orange in color that in turn is attached to the reef surface under rocks or in reef crevices. This picture is numbered and signed, ready for framing. The picture is double matted on an acid-free beveled white mat with a 1/8" thick acid-free foamcore backing board and wrapped in a clear, heavy-duty, archival, acid-free acetate bag. This picture was taken from the coast of Honduras. Off the Island of Roatan while staying at the CoCo View Resort.

Gorgonia sp. This large fan structure is a “sea fan (Gorgonia sp.). A soft coral, it’s internal skeleton is flexible and allows this coral to move with the waves giving it a “Fan” appearance. It is held in place by a Holdfast, which is purple in color on this specimen. The surrounding corals are also members of the soft corals and are sea plumes (lower right and left) and sea rods (middle left). Not all corals are hard and some have adopted the survival strategy of moving with force of the water. This picture is numbered and signed, ready for framing.
